Academics

The Bishop Baumgartner Memorial Catholic School curriculum includes but is not limited to the goals, objectives, and contents of each course of study. Students experience spiritual, intellectual, cultural, aesthetic, moral, social, and physical activities inside and outside the classroom. The curricular programs are based on the Archdiocese Standards of Learning (ASL) provided by the Office of Catholic Education (OCE) of the Archdiocese of Agana.

Grades

A numerical marking system is used at BBMCS in accordance with the following key:

A+ = 98-100 B+ = 90-92 C+ = 83-84 D+ = 75-77

A = 95-97 B = 88-89 C = 80-82 D = 73-74

A- = 93-94 B- = 85-87 C- = 78-79 D- = 70-72

F = 69 and below

 

The grades for each quarter may be based on daily work, projects, recitations, assignments, participation, tests and exams. The final grade is the average of all marking periods
